I just got some brand new holiday baking accessories from the new Sweet Creations by Good Cook line, and I’ve been busily creating edible gifts to send to my kids this week.
First I made this peppermint bark using a non-stick silicone brittle & bark mold ($12.95) imprinted with cheery holiday phrases. I made two batches, one with a layer of semi-sweet chocolate topped with white chocolate and then sprinkled with crushed peppermint candy.
And then I made a batch using just white-chocolate chips and stirring in the peppermint crunchies. Both of them turned out beautifully. The bark popped out of the mold so easily too. I separated some of it into bar shapes and broke most of it into irregularly shaped pieces.
The line also includes some really pretty holiday parchment paper and cute mailing envelopes for packaging and presenting your edible gifts.
This is the actual brittle & bark mold I used, by the way. I hope they add even more designs to the line in the future. I love it!
I also have this trio of 3D cookie cutters ($4.99), but I haven’t had the chance to use them yet. I want to make a little mini gingerbread house scene.
The Sweet Creations holiday baking accessories line is designed to help you from the “making” stage all the way to the “giving” stage.
